Málaga CF has officially announced the signing of Pablo Martínez, a free agent from Levante. The 28-year-old midfielder, who has signed for one season with an optional second year, will wear number 18. The player is already registered on LaLiga's transfer portal and can debut whenever the coach deems appropriate. He becomes the fifth signing of the transfer window after Fernando Calero, Juan Cruz, José Salinas, and Carlos Dotor. Martínez, who joined Levante in 2020, had loan spells at Mirandés and Huesca before becoming a regular in LaLiga. In the 2022/23 season, he played 45 matches in LaLiga with one goal and six assists, and 155 in Segunda with 15 goals and 10 assists. His arrival aims to strengthen the team's midfield, providing an alternative to Izan Merino, Dani Lorenzo, and Dotor.
