Málaga CF will face CD Sporting Club in the first knockout round of the Copa de la Reina. The match will take place in Huelva province on 8, 9 or 10 September, with the exact date and kick-off time yet to be confirmed.

The draw for the first round was held on Wednesday 19 August at the RFEF Football City in Las Rozas (Madrid). Héctor Díaz, Málaga’s coach, now knows his first opponent in a competition he approaches with great excitement.
