Ceuta Keeps Friendly Match Against Málaga Despite Migration Crisis
The Caballa team has confirmed that they will play a friendly match against Málaga CF on Friday, August 7 (19:00) at the Alfonso Murube stadium, despite the migration crisis affecting the autonomous city. This game is part of the XII Trofeo de Feria.
The Trofeo de Feria Continues
The decision by Ceuta comes after their first team returned to the city on Sunday following a training camp at Montecastillo in Jerez de la Frontera. The club has decided to go ahead with the match despite the situation facing the city in recent days.
The game is part of the 12th edition of the Trofeo de Feria, and tickets are priced as follows: between 5 and 10 euros for season ticket holders and between 10 and 20 euros for general admission.
The Fifth Test for Ceuta
The match against Málaga will be the fifth pre-season friendly for the Caballa team. During their stay in Jerez, they faced Juventud de Torremolinos, Sevilla, Cádiz, and Granada, with a record of two wins and two losses. The ceutíes won against Cádiz (3-1) and Granada (1-0), while they lost to Juventud de Torremolinos (0-1) and Sevilla (1-2).
Two Friendly Matches in Less Than 24 Hours
Málaga will travel to the Alfonso Murube after playing another pre-season match just a day before. The team will face Al-Arabi SC at the Marbella Football Center on Thursday, August 6 (20:00), allowing Juanfran Funes to continue distributing playing time and finalizing his team's preparation for LaLiga EA Sports.
