Málaga CF has closed the first phase of its season ticket campaign with a 99.96 % renewal rate, amounting to 26 540 members and leaving only ten to twelve tickets unclaimed. The deadline ended this Sunday, setting a record response from fans after the club's return to the top tier.
What numbers confirm the success?
The club has not released an official figure, but calculations point to 26 540 season ticket holders, very close to the 26 550 cap set by the organization. Only ten to twelve passes may remain free, according to General Director Kike Pérez, who noted the renewal rate far exceeded the 90 % expectation.
Why are fans responding at 100 %?
"Malagamanía" continues to rise, driven by the return to La Liga after eight seasons. Blanquiazul supporters have shown total commitment, and management has stated the high demand makes it impossible to open new spots for those on the waiting list. The campaign also includes a sponsorship deal with Cervezas Victoria until 2031.
What happens in the second phase?
On August 3 and 4 the ticket offices at La Rosaleda will stay closed and there will be no seat changes. From Friday, August 7, the new‑registration phase opens, but availability will be very limited and will be allocated by seniority of the Málaga fan card. Ticket holders with issues will receive personalized assistance.
What does this mean for the club's future?
With almost every seat filled, the club can plan the next season's logistics with confidence and focus on sporting performance. The scarcity of tickets reinforces the image of a club with a solid supporter base, which can also attract sponsors and strengthen financial stability in the league.
